Amish Straw Hat

A great quality straw hat. If you don’t buy this hat, it will be on an Amish man’s head!

This hat is made of braided rice straw, sewn together in Amish homes as a “cottage industry”, and brought to the local Amish hatmaker to add the finishing touches. The hat comes with a soft sweatband sewn into the hat. The black ribbon and bow are included, but not attached. You can affix the ribbon and bow with glue or a couple of stitches.

Our hat sizes are calculated using the average diameter of your head. You can calculate this by multiplying the circumference of your head times 3.14 (Pi). This will give you the average diameter.

Other sizes or brim sizes may be available. You can contact us if you do not see your size listed.

Standard crown height is approximately 4”+ high and standard brim size is 3 1/2”.
